Kentucky Islamic chief charged in homicide for rent plot

An Islamic chief and two others in Kentucky have been charged in a homicide for rent plot.

In response to affidavits filed in federal court docket, an informant posing as successful man first met with Islamic Middle of Lexington chief Mahmoud Shalash. Shalash informed the informant an individual owed him $80,000 and requested the informant to do no matter he needed to to get the cash again.

The affidavits say two associates of Shalash later requested the informant to kill a second particular person they believed had cheated them in enterprise offers. Shalash, John Sadiqullah and Abdul Hadi are charged in federal court docket in Lexington.

Attorneys for the three males didn’t instantly reply to emails requesting touch upon Sunday.

The Islamic Middle of Lexington posted on its web site that members had been shocked by the arrest.
